I genuinely love the KSC75 and sold all my other stuff for them and also have the Porta Pro and KPH30i. The KSC75's are incredible. The other two are very good. I thought I was an over-ear person. I was mistaken. Get the Yaxi Pads for sure for the Porta Pros. I got my KSC75's for $13 Here’s a DIY I put together to have a detachable cable on the Porta Pro. Pretty simple nothing fancy. The Koss Porta Pro are incredibly overrated. Impressions. I heard nothing but good things about them when I read the internet, saying things like they are the best value you can get for under 50$ (or even $100), so I bought them. The package feels premium and I like the retro aesthetics of these on-ears, but when I tried them on I was like 'WTF
Koss headphones. I'd like to try some Koss headphones other than the porta pro. I've heard great things of many of 'em but there is a limited selection available here in Finland. If a model that isn't available here gets enough recommendations I guess I'd be willing to order them from abroad and pay for the outrageous postage and possibly After 10 min of testing, I took the drivers off and retrofitted the KPH30i drivers on the P/21 headband, which was a pretty straight forward job. The headband in it self was worth it and I'm happy with the result. As for the P/21 drivers, I plan to put them in my MC helmet, so the purchase wasn't a mistake after all. raistlin65.
Koss seems to be having no customer service. Placed an order for the Koss Porta Pro Utility as KPH40 was unavailable. Had to place the order in the US Amazon store as the product was not available in Mexico. Including shipping and customs, cost was around 100USD with additional utility lightning connector. Shipping took a few days.
If it's all you have, yes. 4. Jman841. • 3 yr. ago. For competitive gaming where you just want to hear footsteps and directional ques, they KSC 75's are excellent. For immersive game play where you want to feel like your in the game, they are terrible. They have literally 0 bass.
